The Digital Heat Treatment
We monitor the bed bug heat treatment temperatures with a digitally selectable remote temperature probes that are closely monitored throughout the heat treatment.

All of our direct fired and electric heaters have digitally-selectable temperature controls and high temperature limit cutoff switches, ensuring that we reach the desired kill temperature for thoroughly eradicating bed bugs and termites, with heat while ensuring that our process does not exceed the safe threshold for any sensitive electronic items, appliances, or plastic items such vinyl flooring and blinds. Once your home is prepped according to our bed bug and termite heat treatment preparation checklist to account for any flammable or particularly sensitive items, the remainder of your possessions can be treated in place.

What to Expect the Day of Your Treatment
We once had a customer in Honolulu tell us a horror story about how their friends and neighbors discovered they had bed bugs: they had an exterminator show up with a big bed bug on their van! Everyone shunned them and they felt like they had the plague. We respect your situation and treat you with respect and dignity throughout the process. Our staff, vehicles, and equipment would be right at home drying out a burst pipe flood and nothing we do hints of bed bugs.
We treat your house like it is our house. We will walk through your home with you before we start and identify any items that need to be prepped better. Remember prepping is very important to ensure an effective treatment.

No big company logo. No distinct license plate or markings. No giant bug on top of the roof. Very average looking truck and trailer. We could be there for anything.
Our technicians wear normal clothes to the job. To help with discretion, we do not wear branded clothing or uniforms. Our team is very professional in how they treat the process, but casual in how we dress as it gets pretty hot doing this work day in and day out.

The Heat Process
The night before the chemical-free bed bug and termite heat treatment we ask that you please turn off your air conditioner and if it is winter crank your furnace heat up. This will allow for a faster treatment and get you back in your house faster.
Once the techs arrive in Honolulu and do an initial walk through, answering any questions you may have, they will give you our treatment forms to complete while they measure the space and go over the forms, answer any remaining questions, take payment, and begin setting up.
Our setups are usually pretty fast. In fact, we have gotten up to kill temp in the room that we initially direct heat to within 30-45 minutes. You read that right!
We use high powered fans to move air throughout your home in Honolulu. We essentially are creating a convection oven and killing the bed bugs, termites and eggs with heat. We are able to blow the air around the room and into all of the nooks and crannies other treatments are not able to reach.
We also use two different types of monitoring devices to monitor the temperature of the rooms during a bed bug and termite heat treatment. We have hand-held heat guns that we use to detect potential cold spots as well as stationary sensors that we deploy around the house and monitor.
Once we have everything set up and temperatures start to climb, we walk back through the space and make sure everything is staged in a manner that it will receive the most airflow as possible. Often times we move and/or flip items in the middle of the treatment to get the most treatment as possible.
Once we reach lethal temperature we maintain them for at least four hours (it takes three hours at 130°F to kill eggs and we exceed both of those to ensure a proper treatment). We will be communicating with you throughout the process (as much as you want).
Near the end of the treatment we will let you know when we will be turning the equipment off. We recommend that you not re-enter your home for two hours from when we shut everything off. When we leave your house in Honolulu you will still be in the kill-zone and letting the heat permeate will only help the treatment.
Our goal: When we leave your house it will be like the bed bugs and termites were never there.... like it never happened and no one knew about it.
